You may not be brewing it correctly, or you may be tasting poor quality teas.

I have no less than 5 different teas in my pantry right now, and they are all different.

It is...sooooo good!

Uhmm, but is this one of those teas that has an unnecessary amount of sugar. 10+ grams per serving?

I use an electric kettle and bring the water just to the boiling point.

Harney's is my brand of choice. I especially like their Earl Grey, Hot Cinnamon Spice, and Vanilla Grapefruit.

Green teas, though, mostly all taste the same to me. Even Harney's, unless there's an added flavor like ginger or some form of citrus.

Nope!
Zero sugar content
It is a blend of black teas, three types of cinnamon, orange peel, and cloves.

I just had an experience that made me think of this thread.

I was in the mood for an afternoon cup of tea. Unfortunately, I ran out of my favorite tea recently and had to dig around in my desk drawer to see if I had any random tea bags. I came up with a sealed peppermint tea bag. I don't know how long I've had it, but it couldn't be too bad, right?

It tastes like hot water. Absolutely zero flavor.

So OP, make sure that the teas you're drinking aren't old. they could have simply lost all their flavor.

Some teas don't have much flavor. Just went through one of those boxes. Tried another new one and lots of flavor. I guess some brands are much better than others.

I do believe the OP has 'left the building'. Hasn't returned. I asked them to provide details on how they prepare tea, they never replied.

Nope.. Fine teas are like fine wines.
They all have different notes, smell, palate.

My favorite are the barley puerh (brick type) n milk oolong.

And did you know.. Even the vessels the tea is brewed in can give certain differences in steep quantity???
