Jello Puddin' Pops!
Croonchy Stars cereal.
Some sort of yummy breakfast thing at Wendy's. I forget.

I think part of the problem is they bruise easily and ripen in February or so, when the markets are not around (?). We had a tree too.

I have 3 trees--they're blooming right now. I'll send you some loquats!

That was my answer. There's a mail order place I think you can get them and tons of other long-forgotten items, The Vermont Store, I think it's called.

I know Target has them. You can search for them on Target.com and it will show which stores have it in stock. All the ones around here have them.

I miss a wide variety of decent produce, fresh herbs, and cheeses. I live in a relatively isolated place that is frozen 7+ months a year so a lot of that stuff is simply unattainable. Your run-of-the-mill Kroger in a small town back home would run circles around the most upscale grocery store here.

I miss Sonic, Chic-Fil-A, Krystal, and Nando's as well as decent Mexican food and BBQ. Georgian and Uzbek food is decent and easily obtainable though. McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, and Hardees are here.

The first thing that came to mind was Nabisco Pinwheels cookies, as they are no longer made with a "pure chocolate" topping (it was almost like a dark chocolate). They used to release Pinwheels for 6 months of the year, and the other 6 months it was "Twirls" or something, with a milk chocolate topping, same packaging. Maybe they decided it wasn't worth the hassle of switching.

Zero bars were good, but not a candy bar eater much anymore so can't say I actually miss them. And there are brands of sasparilla for sale, though it's not a widely consumed drink.

Postum (original recipe) was wonderful. Apparently it is now made by another company and available on Amazon, but reports on how good this version is re the original varies. Haven't tried it yet.

Yogi Tea just discontinued a favorite herbal tea of mine, Mayan Cocoa Spice.

There was a cereal called Clackers that tasted like graham crackers. Tasted pretty good as a kid, anyway.

Many years ago, I had sassafras tea made from concentrate in a bottle on a couple occasions. It was delicious. Apparently it's still available via Amazon, though there are concerns about the possible carcinogenic issues of safrole, found in sassafras. No idea if this product contains safrole or not.

Related to this are foods/beverages available in other countries but not where one lives. One example is the soft drink spruce beer, available in Quebec but not much beyond.
