I have the basic Crockpot. It's all one piece but fully submersible. When this one goes kaput, I'll definitely get a larger one. It's tough to get a decent sized roast with vegetables in the 4-quart without overfilling.

I know. I think that's what I'm most excited about. I am in the service industry and I am a full time student as well so my schedule is all over the place and it keeps me extremely busy. So I don't ever really have time to sit down and have a nice dinner because I mostly work at night. But on the days I have school in the morning and no work at night or the days I have completely off it would be so nice to be able to throw something together and walk away from it so I can run my errands or whatever I need to do. This is very exciting, I must say!!!

I like to just get a whole chicken, wash it, and then I add what spices I like, add a little bit of water at the bottom and forget about it. The chick will just fall off the bone but will be so moist and flavorful.

i love making soups, chili and spaghetti sauce. also, you can make the best pulled pork ever. just let the pork roast cook until it shreds easily with a fork, add your favorite bbq sauce and enjoy! EZ
