Homemade Toll House Cookies -- the original recipe on the chocolate chip package. I've never met a cookie I don't like but these are my absolute favorites.

They are also the first thing I ever cooked. My grandmother and I baked them together.

Loaded oatmeal cookies (made with white choco chips, semi sweet or dark choco chips, Craisins and macadamia nuts, coconut is optional)

Original Toll House recipe made with good vanilla with M&M's added, sometimes with nuts, sometimes without. I also like to make the start of the recipe but instead of using the semi sweet chips use the white chocolate ones and add orange flavored Craisins and macadamia nuts.

Scottish shortbread (made with really rich butter like Kerrygold).

Oatmeal lace cookies (a lot of work, super thin and crisp, made with a hint of orange rind).

Snowballs (aka butterballs, Russian tea cakes or Mexican wedding cookies). I like them made with walnuts best.

For bought cookies, I like the lemon or lime cooler things, can't remember the name- they are covered with powdered sugar and have a nice little zing.

Butter crisp and butter almond sound good but I've never heard of Jules Destrooper. Where can one find those?
