My grandmother used to make oatmeal cookies with cornflakes in them. They were crispy. I have not been able to duplicate them, but they were fabulous.

I know, right?
Except I just saw a show on how they make Moonpies, so I thought I would try them. They are truly awful. I guess they would be considered a cookie.
I also just remembered that I don't really like Girl Scout cookies either...overpriced and awful. Thankfully, my GD is not longer selling them every year.

No question what mine is: CHIPS DELUXE!!!

I used to love CHIPS AHOY for years but last year they did a very stupid thing: THEY CHANGED THIER RECIPE TO USING UNBLEACHED FLOUR (They had been using Enriched flour ever since they came out) and the cookies do not taste the same, they taste like crap @ least to me!!!!!

Chips deluxe's are yummy and they DO NOT USE CARAMEL COLOUR!! (They use better ingredients to colour them and they taste excellent)

Peanut butter and oatmeal w/ raisin are my favorite homemade cookies. Lemon snaps and Nilla wafers are my favorite storebought cookies.

I made the Sweet and Salty Toll House Cookie recipe over the weekend and they are soooo delicious. It's basically a version of the Milk Bar compost cookie recipe, containing chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, pretzels, and potato chips. The potato chips got lost in the filling (I suspect they melted into the batter while cooking), so I think I'd double up on the pretzels instead next time.
