It's been a really long time since I ate at one.

We thought, when you see one, you have seen them all. it is like taking a tour in the Caribbean; there is always a l little church to visit: same as the castles only even more so: seen one little white church that seats about 20 or so people, you have seen them all.

You can eat a salad and be healthy. No one is saying to drowned the vegetables in ranch dressing. Many people eat local dressing or no dressing. You don't have to eat the eggs or hunk of cheese either. These are fine if you sensibly the rest of the day. It's rare to hear someone who regularly ate salads keeled over!

They probably would have been better off getting hired by the company to give their opinion on each store as an "undercover shopper." They clearly would see the stores better than even the most seasoned store manager would.

Even getting $50 per store (plus food reimbursement) would have been over 32K in income and given CB corporate some serious feedback!
What the heck are you ordering for 2 people at Cracker Barrel that cost $40? We've never spent that much on a meal there....in the gift shop oh yeah, but not on a meal.

I've never been to a cracker barrel. Are they the same people who make the cheese?

Probably the drinks. Iced tea, soft drinks, even coffee can tack on an easy $6 in most restaurants. Perhaps you drink water? After seeing a charge for $3.95 for a glass of lemonade - no refills - in a recent trip to a restaurant, I've decided to stick with water.

Not as far as I know. The cheese is made by Kraft.

I actually drink chocolate milk at Cracker Barrel. Sodas are on average $1.99 there and they give you all the free refills you want.
