Add chips; plus (depending on the guys) some scotch and bourbon, and let me know where, and I'll be there.

Stuff like "appetizer meal" or fajitas (I love fajitas) or "chicken corn pie" or baked ziti with meatballs? Really? For the boys' poker night? Not in my circles.

For my husband's poker nights, it's usually just heavy appetizers. Something you can eat without utensils. They do things like egg roll bites, pizza, sliders, stuffed potatoes, and lots of popcorn and nuts. For this group, the men actually tend to prepare the food themselves and TJ's frozen appetizers are a favorite.

Yeah, I kinda thought the same - except the baked ziti with meatballs or sausage has gone over pretty well.

Keep it simple. Poker is a repeat as well, is it not? Sandwiches, sliders, funeral sandwiches. Baked small burritos are a no left over thing here. Grilled chicken, steak, cheese, hot sauce, .... Roll it up, bake at 350-375, sprinkle some cheese and let it melt.

Chili with bags of Fritos and bowls of sour cream and cheese so they can make Frito pie. Easy to make, easy to clean.

As a joke, one year I'd do quiche.
