Dessert. Not sure what kind but it's what I seem to do best. And I usually do gluten free to consider my Celiac sufferers. Maybe a dessert pizza with sugar cookie crust. That was a big hit! Vegan cream cheese ensured my lactose intolerant peeps were safe.

I'll bring rouladen and red cabbage plus a box of black & white cookies.

I’d love the scalloped oysters, Dirt.
Normally, I’d bring two pies...that’s usually my job. I would bring pecan pie and pumpkin, with heavy cream and a touch of brandy.
Since pumpkin is already well represented, I’ll bring pecan and apple with Vermont cheddar on the side.

OMG, I want to make cranberry roses! I'm making sauce (with ginger!), maybe I'll switch to jelly. Already have the molds!

All this Thanksgiving meal talk has made me hungry. I had to get a Bobbie.

Old article but the sub is still the same deliciousness: Delaware's signature Bobbie sandwich could have been the 'Winona'

Bring some of those Bobbies to the feast. A thanksgiving sandwich made with real turkey, not that rubbery turkey lunch meat, is the best.

Yes. Now I have to heat up some beef stew. You all are making me hungry for beef. (We'll buy turkey and cranberries tomorrow.)

Yeah, I call 'BS' too on the BS 'conversions.' BS is like cilantro - people love it or hate it. The 'converts' who claim to like someone's BS after a lifetime of BS hatred are just patronizing to avoid further proselytizing.

I think a lot of people have only eaten badly-prepared brussel sprouts (boiled for too long), and if they might enjoy some that are cooked properly (steamed and sauteed with garlic, perhaps).

Cilantro? we don't need no stinking cilantro!
