Looks like prawn and mango salad, prosciutto and rockmelon to start; tuna pasta and baked ragu pasta for the little kids, barbecued ham and baked lamb for everyone, rice potatoes something green and salad, cassata, mince pies and custard , Christmas cake, chocolate reindeer cupcakes, and the kids want vanilla ice cream with strawberry sauce and marshmallows. Cherries, strawberries, mangoes.
No dinner planned!

I'm still debating, maybe someone can suggest what they would choose?

Either going to make a pork shoulder roast with baby potatoes, carrots and a salad or a lasagna with a salad and garlic bread.

We do our own version of the Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. Usually it ends up being the Feast of the Three or Four Fishes, however, lol

This year:
Linguini with anchovy garlic aioli (a must have on Christmas Eve!)
Baccala (dried, reconstituted salt cod). This year I’m going to cook it in tomatoes, have not tried it that way before.
Boiled chilled shrimp
Fried smelts (Very difficult to find in this town!)
Hot crab dip
Assorted cheeses
Green salad

We don’t usually have a big thing on Christmas Day, we’ve always hosted the family on the eve. This year, though, I think we’ll do a beef rib roast, maybe on the grill.

Bon Appetit! And Merry Christmas to all!

Not a hundred percent yet:

Turkey
apricot and wild rice stuffing
wilted spinach salad
cauliflower gratin-ish thing
MIL is going to bring potato salad
SIL is bringing dessert

Hmmm, maybe one more thing.
