Wife just got back from a 3 week trip to Europe, she wants Sauerkraut soup (Zelnacka) tonight.
I'll do my best and follow this recipe= https://germanfoods.org/recipe/sauerkraut-soup/

I went out to my favorite diner for breakfast yesterday. It was excellent but way too much food. I had the leftovers for dinner. Here is my dinner of leftover big mac omelette with home fries and English muffin. My Blitzen is supervising. I'm not a fan of begging dogs but he is 14 and I feel it's time to spoil him rotten!

Tonight's dinner will be ground chicken tacos.

For us, it will be tuna steaks, broccoli and a fruit salad. I haven't decided if I will do mashed potatoes or skip the carb this time.

Tonight vegetarian keema naan with brown lentils, onion, carrots, peas and walnuts, homemade plain yogurt, onion, tomato, cucumber slices, lime pickles and lassi to drink. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.

https://www.veganricha.com/2018/03/v...a-lentils.html

* I leave out ketchup, soy sauce and instead of sage I use cilantro today. I roll out the naan dough, add a heaped spoon of the keema and fold dough until it's a square about an inch across, rolling it out oblong shaped and bake it in the oven and before serving add melted ghee on the naan.

I have tons of ground beef, so I think I’ll make Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes and tba fresh veg. Probably Brussels sprouts.

If the nearest store has lingonberry jam I’ll get some (but they won’t).

My parents started going to the original location in the Italian enclave of the Chambersburg section of Trenton, NJ in the 1950s.
Same fam still owns it...but they moved to this new locale.
Happy belated anniversary mr.magoo. Which one is it?

For some reason I am in breakfast mood so tonight's dinner will be:

Strawberry pancakes
crisp pork belly bites
cheese grits
scrambled eggs with onions and peppers

Thanks so much, Praline.^
It was our 19th.
Dinner tonight is leftovers from the restaurant.
We ate and drank like gypsies last night and still have enough food left for another go.

Happy belated anniversary, Mr. Magoo!

Tonight will be Tandoori lentil burgers with raita, a cauliflower korma with blackened raisins that I saw when browsing through this month's Food and Wine at the library, and maybe some Thai chicken meatballs, because I feel like some extra protein.
