tonight is a basic, simple American dinner: loin pork chops, asparagus and fruit salad. Simple but tasty and that is the type of dinner I enjoy once in awhile.

I will grill up a London broil, slice it thin and serve over salad. I think tonight's salad will be spinach, field greens, mint, cucumber, oranges, grape tomatoes, sprouts, green onions, sunflower seeds and red pepper. The husband will make a raspberry vingerette.

Thinking to make for tonight tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches and for dessert leftover dumplings sliced and browned in butter and served with cinnamon sugar and unsweetened apple sauce.

Still no appetite so something light for me. Probably a slice of toast,a clear vegetable based broth and a cup of Chamomile tea.

Have a nice weekend everyone

Alm - take care of yourself!
Soup sounds good. Hello freezer! Potatoe/zucchini soup with ham, grilled cheese and some wings on the side. Let's see what SO has to say.

I attached a pic to my post..the meat was just right, still kept it’s integrity, with some chew and did not get spongy...I also forgot I added a tad of Vietnam fish sauce to the stir fry sauce too.

Not sure about tonight but tomorrow night is corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and shepherds pie that I am bringing to my mom's. She was unable to join us on Saint Patrick's.
