Today is my wedding anniversary. We have been together 19 years, married for 14 of those. I think we will go out for pizza with our boys tonight for a small family celebration.
Looks wonderful!

Happy Anniversary!!

Last night's dinner was Wendy's, lol. I was washing fleece all day, and went to a fiber guild meeting last night, so it was grab & go.

Tonight, we're having a hunk of meat that I rescued from the freezer, and am throwing in the crockpot. Might use up some butternut squash to go with, especially since it's a good thing to puree for my MIL. She barely eats, so I'm hoping it will appeal.

Happy Anniversary dear Magicshark! Your husband sounds like a real "keeper!" I wish you many more years of happiness, good health and joy. Your pictures are amazing as always.
Welcome back Alm, it sounds like you had a wonderful time, we missed you.

I left for a business trip on Friday morning and returned last night. I spent Mother's Day alone but I did hear from my daughter and my husband.

Tonight, he is grilling two Fred Flintstone-sized T bones. We are also having onion rings; a shrimp, broccoli, tomato and avocado salad; a bottle of Merlot; and lemon meringue pie for dessert.

Just got out of Jury Duty.

Wife bought homemade Pierogi from the Polish Deli, 6 cheese and potato and six sauerkraut and mushroom .

She will pan fry some Ham steaks with peppers onions, and mushrooms..boil then sauté the pierogi with the peppers and onions.

serve with Horseradish, sour cream, and some Polish Zywiec beer.

she picked up some deli made Blueberry Blinis for dessert.

Bardzo Dobry

Magicshark, your anniversary dinner looked AMAZING! I haven't had lamb in ages ... you made me want to roast some!

For me today, boneless-skinless chicken thighs with veggies ...

Everything turned out great. The chicken is a cinch and is just done on the stovetop -- rosemary-garlic-thyme seasoning plus a teaspoon or two of lemon as it finishes cooking. YUM!
