Still having low enthusiasm for cooking or eating. If we get hungry we’ll have a burger and leftover broccoli cauliflower salad.

Tacos! Had some chicken marinading in lime juice and garlic for a day, now in the slow cooker. When it's done, will shred it and throw it on some corn tortillas along with some chorizo and homemade guacamole! Yummy.

I finally made the Deer Liver pâte with Calvados this afternoon...(post #272) liver took awhile to thaw out.
I couldn't find any cornichons at my usual store so I made a 22 mile round trip to get some after the pâte was done.

Light dinner was the Pâté with thin rye bread, cornichons, grape tomatoes, and a modestly priced (14 bucks)Champagne.

the last of the chocolate/macadamian nut Biscotti my wife made for Christmas, a sliced pear, and a small but potent espresso.

Safeway had steaks on sale today, so I got a bone in rib eye, and grilled that along with a baked potato, a couple of those Hawaiian rolls, bbq beans and a Caesar salad with sweet tea. Dessert apple pie and vanilla ice cream. I am pretty gosh darn content right now.
