So, the plan for the 31st is to have homemade tomato soup and grilled cheese.
Grilled cheese is always the right answer.

I tried to rep/thank you for you kind inquiry, but could not.

Thank you, DawnMTL! Things are currently a-okay. No complaints.

And I agree; it's hard to go wrong with grilled cheese!

thin spaghetti in a vegetable broth/heavy cream sauce .. sauce has butter, flour, minced garlic, parmesan and goat cheese, mushrooms, peas and a tad of dried basil and rosemary.

I'm using some Shítake mushrooms left over from last night...
garnishing with chopped Italian parsley.

I found this recipe online a while back...but now I can't locate it.
I think the original utilized fresh chopped chives instead of fresh parsley for garnish and didn't include the peas..

Speaking of parsley, wanna hear a parsley joke?

I used to work at a parsley farm, but I quit because they were always garnishing my wages.

Turkey larb (ground turkey, chilis, cilantro, fish sauce, galangal, keffir leaves, lemon grass, and more) in lettuce cups with cucumber.

And.... I think I might try... to cook chicken gizzards....

I have a bumper crop of various cherry tomatoes, so I’ll make a pizza with fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzarella with basil and olive oil and garlic. Is that a margarita pizza? I think so. Leftover strawberry rhubarb pie.
