I opened my front door & almost screeched out loud from the ambush of humidity & suffocating heat that hit me smack in my little mug. In order to avoid venturing outdoors into Valhalla reality for veggies & fruits, I'm just defrosting more homemade spaghetti sauce, cooking frozen burgers & boiling some elbow macaroni to mash together for lackluster gut-fill. And, I'll like it!

Boring fare, but better than risking my hair being caught on fire in direct sunlight.

Oh... & I found a few stray Ballast Point Fathom IPAs in the fridge, so that'll make me happy for a few days. I never look on the door... thought it only held chopped garlic & condiments... who knew I once placed ale there? Found treasure is so awesome... makes me feel like Cap'n Hook!

Stay cool, everyone in the world.

Back from Maui vacay so pulled out some frozen 15 bean soup with cajun sausage. We leave again in a week and a half so I suspect the meals will become odd as I don't plan on doing any grocery shopping.

We ate like silly teenagers tonight. Didn't feel like fussing, so we had cheeseburgers and and A&W Root Beer float...no fries, though. Boy, those floats were great...

Made a couple of changes. Cream of chicken soup for the topping on the chicken and used cucumber and onion for the salad.

Corn on the cob, mixed green salad with jalapeno ranch, and the shameful frozen corn dogs I like (Foster Farms).
