What's for Dinner? 2018 Edition (white wine, cider, restaurant, hamburgers)

Fried chicken sandwich with a side of slaw.

Sliced pineapple for dessert.

Trying a new brand of frozen portobello mushroom ravioli, with meat sauce and roasted Brussels sprouts. Sea salt and rosemary rolls, evoo.

Grilled pork chops, green beans, and cucumber slices.

Tried a new spice rub from Penzey's Spices on the chops. It was very good.

Tonight's dinner:

Chorizo, egg. and potato tacos
Tossed salad
Turnip greens
Cherries

About 14-ounces of 80/20 ground beef, a chopped piece of ginger......put into a pot of water and heated until slightly cooked.

It was delicious.

I probably would not have put in the ginger.......but I am staying in a cigarette-motel and my stomach very badly
needed calming.

I too love Near East rice pilaf. I usually add sautéed mushrooms, red bell pepper [if I have it on-hand] and onions.

Marinating shrimp now that will be grilled. Served with Jasmine rice and steamed yellow squash.

Thinking about red grapes and melons for dessert.
