Crockpot pork chops, rice and blistered green beans with garlic cloves.
For crockpot pork chops place 4 bone in 1 inch thick pork chops in a crockpot. Slather chops with a mixture of 1 can low sodium mushroom soup, 1/4 cup dried onions, 2 tablespoons ranch dressing and 2 tablespoons dijon style mustard. Cook on low for 8 hours. Delicious, easy, moist with lots of gravy.
For blistered green beans, trim fresh green beans. Rub with a little olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt. Place in pyrex dish with 4 large garlic cloves, halved, and cook in oven at 450 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until green beans begin to "blister".
Thursday nights are skiing nights so something simple and portable. Tonight that will be tuna on Syrian bread with lettuce and tomatoes. Granny Smith apples to round out the meal. Water or seltzer water to drink.
looks like chicken breasts with mushrooms and sliced onions plus a vegetable, maybe squash. I have a lot of fresh veggies in the fridge and it is time to use them or throw them. I will also make a green salad which I have been planning on having almost everyday this week and still haven't fixed one. Spoiled brat keeps wanting something else. My menu this week has kinda strawed.
