Chili from a local deli market, prepared there. Drank Apocalypse IPA. Kit Kat bar for dessert. Can't eat too many of those though, as most of them will be passed out to the trick or treaters on Halloween.
Homemade meal: red lentil pasta with sauce, grass-fed ground beef, onion and green beans on the side. I've just discovered a new pasta sauce flavored arrabiata made from anchovies, red bell pepper, marinara that's super delicious.
Couple squares of dark chocolate Trader Joes candy.
We are doing braised pork, which is a favorite. I use the method I saw an Melissa when she was still had her food network show. With the pork we will have one of spoiled brats favorites: waldorf salad. I may or may not add a green vegetable, most likely not.
I am a very tired but very happy girl today!! One more quick and easy dinner tonight then hopefully I can get back on track. It will be turkey, broccoli and linguine in an Alfredo sauce.
I have a bowl of spaghetti with lots of fiery hot peppers and onion melted down in olive oil left. Chunks of home smoked ham, some garlic chives, salad bowl.
We had an appetizer meal last night. Fried potato skins with cheddar, sour cream, bacon, green onions; fried mushrooms; and St. Louis ribs marinated Galbi style, precooked in oven and finished on grill.
Thai green curry with chicken that hubby made yesterday, with rice and smelly daikon salad.
LOL. Daidon STINKS and tastes so good!
