Feeling miserably and cannot get sick!!! Red beans, simmered with a generous ham bone, onions, carrots, celery and potatoe. Corn muffins with corn. Sliced oranges for desert.
I use nutritional yeast for some cheese applications. It works with some foods and doesn't with others, but it's worth sprinkling some on to see.
Thanks, Lilly... I wish. It doesn't taste good to me, but I also get an allergic reaction (it causes a histamine release)... oh, eating is so bloody frustrating that's why I sometimes just lose my appetite & drink water & eat a handful of green grapes. I'm still half covered in red, itchy welts from head to toe from that bag of peanuts I ate last week (I forgot I'm allergic). And, until the rash is gone, everything seems to irritate it. I'm afraid to go out, cuz I'm so itchy, people probably think I have kooties & the villagers will chase me to hose me down.
I went on that ribeye only diet (also eating it only within a 4-hr window... carnivore warrior diet) for 1-mo (read it's a good detox food & the high fat is necessary when not eating often)... worked great, no reactions, but I lost 14-lbs in 2-wks cuz ribeye 2-3 nights in a row is WOW, dee-licious... day 4-30... yeah, I'm bored & not so hungry so just forced down bits of it once/day. By the end of the last week, I was gagging on it & went off the diet cuz I don't want to lose another 14-lbs & the sight of beef made me want to screech. My clothes are hanging off me.
But, it's been 2-wks & I may just start it again 'til I'm back to neon white instead of ruby red. Lately, allergies have increased significantly & I'm having a horrible time with figuring out what to eat without looking like I wandered into a bee hive.

Haha. My marquis featured 2 turkey b'kfast links & starred 4 egg yolks. Modest reviews, but at least it was worth the price of admission. 2 out of 4.
Seared thin pork chops, mushroom and leek sauce with a touch of cream and dijon spooned over top, rice with herbs and chopped salad of cucumber, tomatoes, broccoli tossed in vinaigrette. Chardonnay to drink.
Breakfast for dinner - scrambled eggs with Hungarian peppers, chanterelle mushrooms, onions, and smoked trout,https://www.mackenzieltd.com/smoked-...rout-classic-2 cooked in pepper infused olive oil. Hungarian sausages for the meat eaters, which I heard was very good. Vegetarian sausages, cooked in spicy oil with British brown sauce, (it tastes like a great combo of smoky ketchup and less sweet ketchup)
Homemade croissants with butter lingonberry jam, or apricot preserves. This amazingly dense honey that I need in my life Choice of coffee with oat milk, or assorted teas and that amazing honey again.
Freshly squeezed orange juice, and apricot Kolochki.
Not my house. We visited our friends at Grandview-on-Hudson.
Their extravagant hospitality was so generous and unexpected.
If hubby gets home early enough to get it in the oven, slow roasted leg of lamb (it's all prepped) with mashed potatoes, and green beans. If not, leftover roast beef and pork roast with sides from a box and canned veggie.
We spent all day yesterday on errands, including a new phone company and our monthly shopping plus picking out new flooring for what we have. it all has to be replaced due to our damn leaking hot water heater. Anyway all is well, and today is a fun day, so dinner will be fun as well. We are loin pork chops, cus cus and green beans. I might add in a small basic spinach salad. What every it will be fun to just have a evening of relaxation.
