Thick boneless pork chops (hopefully grilled with honey-sriracha), oven baked potatoe quarters, green salad, thin slices of fruit cake w/Crown Black for desert. Merlot or herb tea depending on my cold.

Boiled red potatoes (plus half a daikon root, cubed and boiled), drained then tossed with butter and young mixed greens sliced into ribbons. This is served with a choice of cottage cheese and/or yogurt-horseradish sauce on the side.

I've also got a leftover huge pork chop. I'm going to slice it and warm up the slices in the bit of homemade apple sauce I have left. This part of the meal should make DH happier.

Kielbasa and potato pancake.

The Kielbasa was good (real Kielbasa from the butcher) but the potato pancake was pre-made store bought so basically a salt-lick. I had a nice big mixed green salad with quinoa, cranberry, carrot shreds and slivered almond (no meat or dairy) so I feel halfway healthy but I'm shooting for more healthy meals for the rest of the week. The little Polish girl in me loves the Kielbasa but even being raised Polish- I know you can't make a whole meal out of it and call it well-rounded (unless of course you are shooting for that waistline).

Tonight, breakfast was for dinner at the Case abode. Along with sausage patties, three basted eggs, and Pillsbury crescents (all made in my kitchen)...............was a Starbucks caffe latte which I brought in.
