The kids want Tacos tonight, so tacos it will be. Mine will probably be a Taco salad, trying to up my veggies and lower my carb intake.

Last of 4 nights with pumpkin chicken chili. If we make this recipe again we'll cut it in half so we get two nights out of it; four nights is too many.

Recipe here.

Recipe makes 8 servings of 1.5 cups each, with a bit leftover.

I love Johnsonville Beer Brats but have to go easy on fatty meats these days. Yogurts laced with whatever berries are on sale is another mashup here.

so sorry all of you on the east coast are about frozen to death. We are having similar weather without the snow. Today the high will be about mid 20s, but we will be fine. I know in 6 months we will be wishing for the cold again. Tonight we are doing brats: yep, I know they are high fat, but damn they are good and this is a wonderful time to have them. Also kraut, some peppers mixed in with the brats and I am not sure what else. I think the menu says sauteed squash.
