What food or drink do you get a craving for, but only occasionally? And once you have had it, that's it for another year or so?

I'll start -
Marshmallow peeps, about one a year is all I need. More if I am making smores with them ;-)

Circus peanuts - haven't had them in years, I would like one or two, but whenever I feel the package in the store, they feel stale (yes, I am THAT person).

My Royal Dansk butter cookies, one tin a year is fine.

Also stroopwafels, I got a craving and bought a big lot on Ebay and have been eating them sparingly since. I think they will last though.

Mussels over Pasta--only eat it once or twice a year.
Chocolate Ice Cream--only once in a great while and in the summer.
Probably more, but all I can think of right now.

Funny how cravings come and go like that.

Those maple sugar candies that come out in the fall. The ones boxed with a large maple leaf in the center and several smaller candies surrounding them. For me, they are only good when fresh and soft. I don't care for them when they are hard and on sale in late winter.

Peppermint bark. I have no self control and do not like chocolate. SO got me about four pounds for Christmas and I asked him to stick it into a gun safe. He grinned yesterday when I whined about a rough day at work - in plain sight. Yes, I know and he can use that tin for something else while I mind my tommy pains.

Me too! But I get one once a year at our local neighborhood festival.
