But there were a few surprising exceptions: Men were much more likely to eat asparagus, brussel sprouts, peas and peanuts. They also were bigger consumers of frozen pizzas, frozen hamburgers and frozen Mexican dinners.

Women are more likely than men to eat eggs, yogurt and fresh hamburgers.

My husband likes brussell sprouts, and I hate them.
I love yogurt; my husband hates it.
We both like asparagus.

In my house, everybody eats what I feel like cooking. Sometimes people have to eat things that aren't their favorite, but it all equals out in the end.
I think they just found out that some food preferrences are in one's DNA, so, fortunately, my husband and I both like brussels sprouts, broccoli...all those bitter vegetables and liver, too.
