Hi All,

I’ve been doing a lot cooking lately. I’d like some ideas for main dishes that can be frozen. I’ll be visiting my daughter for a couple weeks over Easter and I’d like to take some frozen main dishes. I know I can make lasagna, pot pie, chili, some soups. What else? Or anything I could freeze and finish off later? Thanks.

Slide show by Martha Stewart. You can get some ideas there, and I am sure, some good recipes. Her recipes are reliable.

Almost any dish could be cooked in advance, portioned and frozen.
Cook whatever you are good at, and know your daughter will appreciate.

Nothing with mayonnaise, so no chicken salad. Mashed potatoes don't freeze. Obviously no green salads.

Everything else, go for it!

If you use butter & cream cheese to make mashed potatoes, they freeze & reheat well.
