If you bought yours from Walmart check it out. They may overheat and catch fire.

It is the slow cooker model, which practically no one owns.

This is not new news, by the way.

Instant Pot, not Instapot.

And if you’re going to post about a recall, it helps if you share a link so people know exactly what models have been recalled.

Really? Why did I see it on a news broadcast?

Saw this on the news and immediately posted it. Was doing something else when I heard it so missed the details. Yes it would have been helpful to have more details.

So by your logic if there's smoke coming from restroom hallway in a movie theater but I'm not sure if it's the mens or ladies room I should confirm that before pulling the fire alarm? Anyone who saw my post could have confirmed the details as quickly as I could have.

So sorry for the disappointing post! I'll try and do better next time. A simple thank you would have sufficed.

Your analogy is silly, but hell, I’ll play along. Ever heard the phrase “never yell ‘fire’ in a crowded theater”?

Your information was VERY incomplete, and thus not particularly helpful. You were well intentioned, but if you’re going to post, be sure to at least have a link so people know what you’re talking about.

I have. The only difference no one gets trampled running into their kitchen to check out their "Instant Pot".
