My kids love ketchup on their sandwiches. One of them hates mayo and mustard, so when I make him sandwiches for lunch, ketchup is the only thing he will eat it with. He won't eat it without because then the bread is too dry. So it's a ham sandwich with ketchup, a turkey sandwich with ketchup, a chicken sandwich with ketchup... LOL

Not just ketchup...it depends on the joint, but some places don't have mustard. I've run into this in multiple burger fast food frachises...no mustard to go. If you insist and they have sweet and sour mustard sauce, they may offer that. Same with pickles. Ask for extra pickles and you'd think they were made of platinum. I now just ask for a "side" of pickles so I can get enough.

I can't really see putting ketchup on any cold cuts.

I like ketchup on my beef sandwiches too.

What the heck? Am I the only one?

Back in the days before I became reformed and tightened up my eating habits, I would pour catsup on a lot of things. Sometimes, people who had provided the food would take offense. But I never thought that there was anything wrong about doing it. My grandmother would make catsup out of Italian prunes and it was delicious. But nowadays, I avoid foods that have sugar and vinegar added to them.

Subway not having ketchup is a long standing complaint.

Google it.

Having trouble making up a rhyme for "clueless".

But then again, I come from PHILLY, the HOME of the CHEESE STEAK WITH KETCHUP.

What you do with your sandwich is your business OP. You paid for it. Enjoy it however you like.
