I happen to like ketchup on my ham. So shoot me. The other day, I ordered the ham sandwich and asked the clerk for a packet of ketchup and he looked at me like I had an eye in the middle of my forehead when he responded with "We don't have ketchup".

I like ketchup on my beef sandwiches too.

What the heck? Am I the only one?

I doubt your the only one, but I doubt very many people like ketchup on their deli sandwiches. Its not a popular enough choice for Subway to start caring ketchup for the rare occasion someone asks for it. If I were you, I would just save some ketchup packets from other FF places to use at Subway.

I guess you're lucky the sandwich artist didn't propel himself over the counter to fight you.

Do a search "subway + ketchup" and you'll find a glorious account of a ketchup incident from a Florida Walmart Subway in 2013.

I agree, it is not a big deal.

I don't believe they do stock ketchup, no. But, it's been years.

Yes, you are the only one, and we would shoot you if we could.

Just kidding, we won't shoot you. But we will make fun of you endlessly.

Ketchup is for fries. You want ketchup on your beef, go have dinner with the pres. But not in TX baby!

Well...they don't carry ketchup so I think you answered your own question.

Stock up at McDonald's and bring packets with you.

I'm sure you are not the only one but it is rare. Very few sub shops and even NY deli's will have ketchup. Well NY deli's will because a lot of people like them with their breakfast specials.
