Can confirm--I live in California and previously ate from Raising Cane's.

Love them both.
CFA is cheaper, but I'd have to pick RC.
Here in Ga. We have zaxby's. They are the same as RC.

Neither. I prefer Zaxby's when I'm in the mood to beat chicken tenders in a restaurant.

Raising Cane's is okay but bland. They cook like they're terrified of salt and pepper.

I prefer the crinkle fries over the Chick Fil A waffle fries.

I do like Chick Fil A too, well they have sandwiches and more than just chicken tenders.
The breading on their tenders is less of a batter than Cane's. Also can't beat the Chick Fil A sauce.

I'm a So Cal resident as well and there's already a Chick-Fil-A near me but next week a Raising Cane's is opening just down the street from Chick-Fil-A. My co-worker and his family love Raising Cane's (they go to an existing location, obviously). I've looked at Raising Cane's menu on their website and I'm willing to give their food a try once they open in my neighborhood. In the meantime, I LOVE Chick-Fil-A!

I've been to both (specifically, I used to go to Raising Canes when I lived in Louisiana) and greatly prefer Chick Fil A.

Raising Cane's just entered our market in the past year or so. This is exactly my impression...completely bland. Nothing wrong with it, but also nothing I'd make a special trip to pick up or anything. I went once to see if it would make it into the rotation when we're on the go, and, eh. There are better choices in that same bracket.

If I'm going to get fast food chicken, it's gonna be either Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich or Popeye's.
like you, we really eat very little fast food, but oh how I love Popeye's. We just try to stay away from fast food period and don't really go out to eat much period

RC just opened here . I tried it once. As mentioned, only fried tenders and fries with Cole slaw. Not much variety. It was fine but we are trying to eat healthy. I like CF as it has more variety and I do appreciate their attitude. Love their lemonade.

Bush's opened here and then closed within a year. Never went there but wondered if there is just not enough business for fried chicken around here. Sad to see any place close . Perhaps the location is jinxed as a Sonic opened and closed there as well as a popular hamburger drive through.

Never been to Popeye's but you have made me curious.

We don't go to fast food much except when traveling as it is quick , cheap and usually convenient . If we have time, I will look on YELP to see some places that locals recommend.

Chick-Fil-A. The service is always amazing and if you get their calendar card, you can get a free menu item every month. Raising Kane's is overpriced for what you get IMO. I've only been there twice.
