With what is available locally, my backyard (actually car port) is the best around.

One of my favorite BBQ stories is when we ran across a stand on the way down to N.O. for Katrina relief efforts. The dude wasn’t even open yet, gave us leftovers. Amazing. I think it was in Georgia.

Wow, I didn’t know that. I can’t wait to get to visit that area.

While driving through Kansas, I got to eat at Arthur Bryant’s. Best BBQ I had ever tasted, and while there are no doubt many good places around the country, only a few raise the bar. Arthur Bryant’s is definitely one and I’d go back to KC just for that!

Best BBQ joint - My back yard!

Hey I have a smoker and smoke just about anything that walk, crawls, or swims. Sorry a very restricted invite list. Otherwise we have some darn good BBQ in Memphis - Corky's (the original, not the franchise) and Stateline BBQ stand out, BBQ fest for Memphis and May is this weekend I think.

Legend has it that truly great BBQ makes you violent. I've never experienced that, so I'm assuming I haven't had truly great BBQ.
