If on the go, a good option? I know alot of sugar, so only eating 1/2 of a 3.52oz bar per sitting is my idea. Ok, anyone eat them?

Way too many calories. Try Quest Protein Chips - the BBQ flavored ones are great. Quest Chocolate Chip bars are good too but are too addictive for me, can't stop at one. About 200 calories a bar, around 21 G carbs, no sugars.

It maybe too much calories to some but for body building you do need calories to build muscle. Metrx is generally for body builders and workouts. It's not a slimdown or fitness bar.

200 calories is nothing. I can burn that much in 1 hr just sleeping if I've got enough muscle mass.

movintime didn't say he/she was a bodybuilder but stated if "on the go". I am assuming that meant not "headed to the gym". Most people struggle with calories - I am making a suggestion based on how I evaluate foods because the OP asked for input twice. But you are right - Metrx is for body builders and workouts. No arguments there!

I haven't tried Met-RX. I have tried several Quest bars as a meal replacement. I prefer the brownie one. There is some sugar alcohol in the Quest bars.

No way, lots of calories and lots of sugar.

I keep Costco protein bars in my car and stuff if I need a quick bite.

$17 for 20 ct. 21g protein 15 fiber 2 g sugar around 180 calories
