Giveaway will last rest of 2018.

National French Fry Day fell on a Friday the 13th this year, but McDonald's is going to make it happen on a lot of other Fridays.

You have to download the app and spend at least $1. That is NOT really free in my book and not as good as other promotions that they are running.

2 chicken sandwiches are $2.24
Good snack.

Added fries at no cost is a pretty good deal.

If they went out of business I wouldn't miss them. We have gone there, maybe 3 times in the past 10 years, one was about 2 months ago, it still did not impress us. Like I have said here many times, we really are not fast food eaters period and they are probably at the bottom of our list. Thus free anything isn't going to get us in the door. But for those who enjoy eating fast food, I am glad you will be able to get your fries free.

Well, any sized soda is $1. When I go it's for fries and soda as a snack, so I would like this. I'm a little lazy about the whole app thing, though. I dunno if I will bother if I have to order through that. For some reason I am against downloading all the apps and using them to begin with.

I'm glad I decided to read this thread- I was planning to go get a Filet-o-Fish today. I get a craving for one about twice per year and it just randomly happened to be today.

Man it sounds really tempting McDonald's, but if I go there I might buy some of your other food.

McDonald's is nasty. They didn't used to be, but they sure are now. As I understand it, "pink slime" has been banned for human consumption - but whatever they are making their "burgers" out of, its the next worse thing to pink slime. Even their vaunted fries are not good any more. There is nothing they could give me for free that would induce me to eat there any more. Even if I were starving I would look elsewhere first.

Gross/puke, why would any sane person even eat there?
