Any chips in the non-stick coatings?

I ordered a new outer shell and inner basket because mine chipped. It may be because I used a soft brush on it. In the future I will only soak it and use no brush. The replacements are only $19 bucks so a lesson learned for cheap.
  • If yours is still good. How do you care for it.
  • If yours is bad or going bad, how did it come to it's bad state - if you know?

Ours is doing fine, I wash it in the dishwasher. The first one we had, only lasted about 2 weeks, so I took it back & got the replacement. I love it, so great to cook something quickly, without heating up the house. I do not use the spays, I will toss my veg or meat in an oil, if needed, before cooking.

Do not have to worry about that as it is all metal and in use just about every day for two years. SO suggested getting one as back up as they were sold out for a while.

All metal? As in your's does not have a non-stick black surface? I'd like to investigate that brand as it sounds like something I would want.

Instructions say to line the actual pan with aluminum foil. Dollar Tree has packages of name brand 25 count sheets which fit perfectly. I ordered a case which will last for a while.
