Some evenings I am hungry but just nothing sounds tempting. Looking through the 'fridge or the freezer doesn't help.
What do you eat on those nights?
Is ice cream acceptable ?

On those nights I'll eat cereal with banana slices or just a baked potato.

(Although I suppose ice cream is acceptable every once in a while.)

That is why I do not keep junkfood around, it becomes too tempting when hungry.

Ice cream is not only acceptable, it's encouraged!

For me, good bread and good cheese are always on hand and that's always my go-to. It also happens to be always tempting.

Me three! If I don't know what I want or after making the family dinner I just don't want it, then bread and cheese it is. If they is any salami or kalamatas in the fridge they get added.

Ice cream works for me. On those days I usually end up eating cereal/oatmeal or eggs. If I have good cheese I will have a plate with sliced apple, cheese and crackers, and some green olives.
