I canít say Iíve ever had anything on the lists.

All I can think of is the $.25 banana splits at the Woolworths counter.

I miss Callard & Bowser Butterscotch. Altoid, who owned C&B, discontinued production so they could concentrate on filling every possible corner of the universe with Altoids, which I hate.

Remember you had to pick a balloon, and pop it, to see what price you would pay for the banana split. Loved the days of Woolthworth

Smile Petit Fours

I remember going to a department store with my mom who loved these. The company was either sold or out of business but it was a yellow box with little designs and there were around 24 of them.

They were carried by Jordan Marsh and also sometimes, A & P Stores had them. I haven't seen them since the mid 1990's, I think.

I went on-line a couple of time and bought what looked like them - nothing like them.

My mom used to call them by another name which I can't remember right now but we loved them!!

I have not seen the individual Spanish Bar cakes in a long time. Those were so good with the spices they used.

I'll never be able to eat oysters on the half shell again, after getting a bad one twice. Too bad, because I love them.

Jello Pudding Pops. They were my favorite snack when I was a kid. I think they discontinued them a long time ago.

Before the microwave we had Jiffy Pop popcorn. It disappeared as everyone got a microwave on their kitchen counter.

They also stopped making Space Food Sticks as the moon travels faded. Those SFS's were supposed to be the actual chocolate snacks that the astronauts took with them to the moon. Us kids just went nuts for 'em. It made me pretend I was Buzz Aldrin.

Anything else not listed here?
I understand why they were discontinued. What I don't understand is why they manufactured them in the first place. I never bought any of them. Maybe the Altoid tangerine sours, but tangerines have the worst flavor of any citrus fruit, so probably not.
