Yeah, but...they're only similar. Not the same.

The originals were a favorite going way back.

I had a lot of those things growing up.

A couple they missed, Crystal Pepsi (yes I know, they've rereleased it, today, actually, but it never stays around long and doesn't taste like it did in the 90's.)

Bluebell banana fudge pops.

My biggest gripe though, isn't what has been canceled. What ticks me off the most is when they change the formulation of the product so that it doesn't taste the same as it used to, and it's never an improvement, it's always worse as they try to cut costs. I wish some of these companies would realize that there's a lot of us who would pay more for their product if they would just make it like they always did instead of trying to pass off an inferior tasting product as the same thing.

In the 80s there were these little individually-wrapped cakes called "Baba-Rum". Yes, they had rum inside so I guess were taken off the shelves due to underage consumption. Dang!

Jamoca-Almond-Fudge ice cream. Fresh raspberry pie with vanilla ice cream. Chocolate eclairs.

OMG, I forgot about the Butterscotch. Why did you have to awaken that memory when it's not available anymore?

The black licorice disks were the absolute worst! I liked the colors in general but the flavors weren't good.

Clove-flavored Lifesavers.

I like Necco wafers, particularly the purple (clove), white (cinnamon), and pink (wintergreen). I really hope that they don't disappear from the market.

I've seen Turkish Taffy on the retro-candy sights, but it would pull out my dental work now.

Another candy I loved were the barley sugar clear colored candy toys we used to get at Christmas. I found them for sale online and bought them, but they don't taste the same. I suspect they are now made with HCFS.

Smile Petit Fours - I remember the name now

They were called Continentals.

I remember driving with my mom; we would buy a box and it just never made it home!!

(No one else knew)
