I'm pretty adventurous, but this sounds like a huge waste of time, energy, spices, and a perfectly good watermelon, not to mention a waste of money by the people who buy it.

I agree. Itís the opposite of everything thatís good about watermelon - the simplicity, crisp sweetness, and refreshing coolness.

I don't see a problem with it.

If people want to try different things, or if they can't eat meat, why not?

Even if I might not like the taste of it, doesn't mean others may not.

Grilled watermelon is good... smoked? Worth a try. Probably taste better after "eating" a plugged watermelon.
