Last night I got to use two new-to-me products. I tried a sheet pan dinner recipe that called for fully cooked microwavable rice and fresh mushrooms. I had previously bought frozen, cooked brown rice and frozen mushrooms at Whole Foods. I pulled them out of the freezer, and built my dinner with them and chicken thighs. Delicious!

You can find reclosable pouches of cooked brown rice in the frozen foods section of Whole Foods. Likewise, pouches of frozen mushrooms.

My sheet pan dinner consisted of broccoli florets, chicken thighs, mushrooms, red pepper planks, and cooked brown rice. Baked at 425 deg for one hour. However, the house did smell like cooked broccoli!

At any rate, I think these products will be freezer staples for me.
