What new thing have you discovered at the grocer! Or what new to you thing have you tried? Share so we all can know about it.

A not new thing which Iíve recently bought for the first time are Smithfield ham slices, packed 4 to a pack. These are whole ham slices and they tast like meatónot fat and salt. You can find them in the meat case. They make a nice ham sandwich. And honestly I donít like most ham. But these are pretty good.

OKóyour turn.

Smithfield pork (recently purchased by a Chinese company, which a lot of people are upset about (not me)) is the best tasting pork, period. You can taste the difference in any cut you buy. This is not new to me.

What I found in Walmart was Street Kitchen spice kits, which made meals based on various foreign cuisines and my favorite was Moroccan lemon chicken. Now they all seem to have disappeared. Typical.

The ham slices were new to me. Sorry about the disappearance of the spice kits which sound like a good idea. Found this: https://www.amazon.com/Street-Kitche.../dp/B01M739PV0

Probably the most recent discovery was Nduja (N do ya). It is a spreadable spicy salami that was created in Calabria.

Italian, correct?

I went to an Italian restaurant and had a Ngduja Pizza.

One of the best I've ever had.

Trader Joe's Chalkidiki olives. I didn't realize green olives could taste so good.

Friendly's "All Natural" ice cream (had a coupon). Tried the mint choc. chip. Chips had a weird texture, crumbly and gritty. Otherwise it tasted OK.
