I usually put it in wraps with either hummus or a combination hummus and skordalia and find it to be pretty tasty with chicken. I use a variety of slaws in wraps this way. I usually heat up the pita with the hummus/skordalia/chicken in the toaster oven and then put the slaw on after.

What's skordalia?

I make a broccoli slaw with slivered almonds, thinly sliced apples and dried cranberries, The dressing is creamy yet light.

I mix 3T mayo with 1/2 cup low fat Greek yoghurt, 2 T apple cider, 1 T honey, sea salt and cracked black pepper with a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon.

Sometimes I add crumbled extra sharp cheddar cheese. The flavors are good for Autumn, and it pairs well with heartier fare..

I'd want a sauce that would numb my taste buds.

I was hoping to find the applesauce dressing the delis back home used to use for this wonderful credit salad. Can't find it online. One ingredient is certain and it is applesauce. But if memory serves, it is also a creamy yet crisp sort of flavor. The recipe I'm searching for is pretty much vegan. It might have some oil, but I doubt it.
