I use distilled white vinegar (6% solution) as a kitchen disinfectant. I spray a fine mist on my hands, dishes, counter tops and fresh fruits and vegetables, after washing. It has also cured my athlete's foot, after a lifetime of affliction. It also kills those foul little odorous house ants, with just a quick misting. In addition, I use balsamic vinegar in my stews.

Just white vinegar. I throw a cup of it into the washing machine when doing laundry.

I am amazed at how many seem to use white for cleaning only. I use it for lots of things, including,of course canning. I just did 6 jars of okra yesterday.

I'm not at home so this is from memory.

Red wine vinegar
White wine vinegar
Rice vinegar unseasoned
Expensive balsamic
Cheap balsamic
Two different kinda of Filipino vinegars (for cooking)
White balsamic
Apple cider vinegar
White vinegar (for cleaning and poached eggs)

I recently threw away champagne vinegar (bland), black Chinese vinegar (weird overpowering flavor) and some kind of mango jalapeno crap that was a gift (nasty stuff because of the mango).
