Stuffed pears. They were pear halves stuffed with something yummy and topped with nuts.

Paw paws. It's a sort of banana shaped fruit that is native to the Midwest. I tried some at the Farmers Market last Saturday. It's a cross between a banana texture and a sort of apple/banana flavor with a little bit of a pear like skin.
We have some that grow in our woods, but I've never been able to get to them before the deer do.

I'm on low carb/keto diet and I purchased little cakes from Smartbaking company. OMG they are so delicious. Also bought some low carb bagels (1 net carb) on netrition.com and they are soooo good.

Good question, but probably not in this case. I'm allergic to dairy products. I had two of these stuffed pears and didn't suffer any ill effects. The filling was beige colored--wish I knew what it was.
