I always thought of myself that way, too, but I discovered this year I like Pretzel and Crispy M&Ms, too. I didn't like Caramel, though, which is odd, because it's normally one of my favorite flavors.

As for Jalapeño Peanut M&Ms, I'll try them based strictly on how much I like that shade of green.

I love spicy peanuts, but not so much spicy chocolate.

Me too. I was even skeptical when they first decided to add that second: "M".

I love M&Ms and love jalapenos but I don't want anything in my chocolate!

This new jalapeno M&M makes me think of those who put chocolate in their spicy chili. I'm going to try that too. I may not like the new M&M's but am keeping an open mind about it. Sad it will not be available to try until 2019. That's a bummer.

The Mexican dishes that use chile and chocolate are called mole. (Prounounced mole-A and refers to the sauce itself). If prepared properly, you don't taste the chocolate and many contain over thirty different ingredients/spices. The chocolate used adds color and is a bitter or bittersweet chocolate.

I wish they were using Hatch Chile's instead of jalapeno in those M&M's, but I'll be looking for them. But Chile's with milk chocolate??? Umm, I'm not expecting much.

If they taste like mole (thanks JKgourmet for explaining what it is to the uninitiated), I'm in. But I doubt I'll be that lucky.
