Default Chain restaurants based in your city or surrounding area?

What chain restaurants are based in your city or in a surrounding area? What restaurants may have started in your area but moved headquarters?

For Atlanta and North Georgia:

Chick-Fil-A

Waffle House

Moe's

Zaxby's (based in nearby Athens, GA)

Arby's (moved from Fort Lauderdale. Started in Ohio)

Applebees (started in Atlanta area. Now based in metro KC)

The Varsity (a small chain in the Atlanta area)

I'm not talking about location. I'm talking about headquarters, or chain restaurants that started in your area.

Applebees started in metro Atlanta and moved its headquarters from Atlanta to the Kansas City suburbs.

The Black Bear Diner is our "local". Started in Strawberry Valley/Mt Shasta, CA. They are headquartered in Susanville, CA. Still small town minded.

The best known local "chain restaurant" that was started and is based in Orange County, CA is Wahoo's Fish Tacos. It is one of the few places that resembles a casual dining restaurant that I like to eat at once a week or so (fish tacos of course). Reasonable prices too, it is a local icon. They have about 30 location, has recently expanded to Colorado and soon Northern Cal.

We have Zaxby's in both Mobile and Pensacola. I love that dipping sauce (Zax sauce).

Arby's, Applebee's, Chili's, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Native New Yorker.

The Applebee's in the Metrocenter area of N. Phoenix is the best!!!

Native New Yorker in Mesa is my favorite one!! (they just had a buffalo wings eating contest yesterday. I wasn't there, but I saw it on the news).
