Thank you for all of your responses. I looked at all of your suggestions and more. My husband asked how hard can this be just buy the most expensive one Yeah right...non stick pans are not worth that. The coating will only last so long.

I think I am going to go with two Sam's Club skillets.

I have several T-Fal skillets. They do fine on the glass top. They are typically inexpensive, so when the coating inevitably fails, I toss them and buy new.

I don’t even bother looking for non stick that lasts, because in my experience, non of them do.

I just bought a set of Circulon from Costco. A lot of pots and pans for $199. They also had a set of another excellent brand on sale for $149. I had a hard time deciding which set to buy. It came down to the balance of the handles.

My current set of Circulon pans are almost 30 years old, and the frying pans are finally becoming less non-stick, due to some scratching. But they never slid around on a glass top stove. They still clean easily. If something sticks, I add a bit of water and let it sit for a few minutes and it will wipe out.

I have to qualify that : I baby my good pans. I use non-scratch utensils and I hand wash. That extends their life

That drives me crazy too. You can't stir without holding on to the handle or they walk all over the stove! If I wasn't moving I'd get some new ones.

I use non scratch and hand wash and my cheaper non stick skillets usually last about 5 years. This last batch was used for cooking over too high of gas heat.

My pans are doing that. I could be dangerous. Happy moving.
