I've never liked canola oil as it gives me indigestion so I'll continue to use Wesson Oil, peanut oil, and roasted walnut oil, picking the best for specific dishes.
Grape seed oil Ms. Heron. Does not burn at high temps and (for me) no after taste.
Peanut oil will also work at high temps-I use that with any Asian cooking. It does flavor the food correctly.
