DW has gone on a Breville buying spree. So far we have the tea pot, the egg poacher, the juicer (masticating), the food processor and the smart oven air. She loves the design and the simplicity and I do agree. Not to mention, hunting for these appliances at TJ Maxx and Marshall's at half price or better is absolutely amazing.

And we discovered a fantastic use for the egg poacher. Making yogurt. In theory it's perfect. Constant temperature at a predetermined length of time. In practice, also perfect. What I used to do with a a pot, blankets and sleeping bags now I do with a few button presses. So if you have the egg poacher and want to use it for things it wasn't intended for, this is one of them.
Coincidentally, we've only used it for eggs once, and it was a failure. Not a machine failure... a people failure. Machine works great for chicken eggs. Not so great for duck eggs. oh well...
