These little 2 quart cookers were recently selling for $10 or less. They don't call it a pressure cooker on the box but It's actually a, low pressure, pressure cooker. There's only a simple knob timer. I've lot found much info about cooking at low pressure. Anybody else have one?

Haven't seen or heard of them but to be honest, I love a bargain, but I would be leary of any type of fast cooker that was selling for $10 plus 2 qt is pretty small.

We don't have a Penney's Fast Pot but Mrs Bellacatahoula bought a, I think 4 or 5 qt. Quick Cooker on QVC many moons ago. Safer than a pressure cooker, I think it is a low-pressure cooker. Looks like a non-stick Dutch oven with a ventable lid. She used to use it but it's now rather idle! Just wanting attention....

I don't think it was meant to be a $10 cook pot, they are $44.99 today. They had been $10 in the store, than online with an extra discount at $8.95. The reviews are mixed, I think they're just getting rid of them.
Some people claimed it wouldn't seal, I think it's all about proper gasket installation.

This one looks like the same thing, A quick search finds it for 20 something.

You can find an older Instant Pot model for less than the newer models. If buying cheap, and getting a good product, are important, look around for a deal on the Instant Pot. If you want a small pot, look for an older model 3 qt., or Mini.

Yeah, I was interested in the 3 qt Instant Pot until I got this one. We have a 6 qt Cuisinart PC for serious pressure cooking. This little cooker is perfect for me making one or 2 servings for myself. For rice, it's a little less messy than my rice cooker. It's small enough to take along on a road trip for hotel cooking.

It's a bit inaccurate to call this thing 2 quarts. The pot is 2 quarts filled to the brim. The max fill line is something less.

I've cooked, chili, soup, potatoes, hot dogs, rice, talapia, cabbage, brussel sprouts, country pork ribs, hard boiled eggs, in my little cooker. I'm just trying different things to see what it's best for.

Today we are trying Italian beef. A 2 3/4lb rump roast just fit. I threw in whatever I had on hand that seemed like ought to be in Italian beef. Beef broth, onion, jalapeno pepper slices, seasonings. I'm on a low salt diet, so no salt was added. We'll see what happens.
It came out pretty good. Probably needed more peppers, and what can you expect with no salt. It's not like I've been making Italian beef for years. It was my first try. Did 90 minutes and let it depressurize on warm.
