Had a Mediterranean style sandwich...thick local bakery sourdough bread, brie spread with red wine vinegar and garlic added, fresh tomato and cucumber slices, kalamati olives, and sauteed (in extra virgin olive oil) yellow squash and zucchini slices.
Either a grilled steak with sauteed mushrooms, and a side of great northern beans OR pan fried chicken breast with artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes, and a side of garden tomatoes with kalmatas and pepperoncinis

First time cooking as I was many days very ill with the flu.
Salmon steak fried in a little butter with lemon juice, seasalt and a little white milled peppercorns.
My husband made a batch of meatballs today. I made a pasta red sauce. We will serve with farfalle pasta.
Maybe you might remember my hound Blitzen who watched me cook and eat. When he passed two days after Christmas we were devastated. Today we adopted another hound and in true hound fashion he has found the kitchen!
Last night I made another pepperoni, green pepper, mushroom, and onion pizza.
Tonight I am going to try to make an easy dish of shrimp in mustard-horseradish sauce with green beans and basmati rice.
Sometimes lately DH just wanders into the kitchen and starts eating massive quantities of cereal right when I'm about to start cooking so you never know!
Dinner - salad with egg & avocado. If I could I would have
Coconut prawns
Crab cakes made with real alaskan king crab
Smoked salmon with toast points
Mango juice
Pomegranate juice
Blood orange soda
Pineapple sorbet
