Had a Mediterranean style sandwich...thick local bakery sourdough bread, brie spread with red wine vinegar and garlic added, fresh tomato and cucumber slices, kalamati olives, and sauteed (in extra virgin olive oil) yellow squash and zucchini slices.

And chocolate milk lol

Too wet to grill outside so spoiled brat is saved. he doesn't have to do anything except sit around and watch basketball while I do the cooking:

Grilled London Broil
creamed potatoes and peas
grilled veggies
salad

Either a grilled steak with sauteed mushrooms, and a side of great northern beans OR pan fried chicken breast with artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes, and a side of garden tomatoes with kalmatas and pepperoncinis

Another "Chopped" style for dinner tonight:

Tossed salad
Teriyaki beef fried rice
Sauteed zucchini squash
Thai bananas

I have about 6# of steamed rice left over from a catered dinner. It is a nice problem to have.

My husband made a batch of meatballs today. I made a pasta red sauce. We will serve with farfalle pasta.

Maybe you might remember my hound Blitzen who watched me cook and eat. When he passed two days after Christmas we were devastated. Today we adopted another hound and in true hound fashion he has found the kitchen!

Awesome, Magic! Looks good.

Last night I made another pepperoni, green pepper, mushroom, and onion pizza.

Tonight I am going to try to make an easy dish of shrimp in mustard-horseradish sauce with green beans and basmati rice.

Sometimes lately DH just wanders into the kitchen and starts eating massive quantities of cereal right when I'm about to start cooking so you never know!
