we will be out most of the day so need to keep dinner easy. I am doing pork chops, sweet potatoes, mashed and a veggie or maybe a green salad. it depends of what I pick up at the store today. I might even do cold slaw even if spoiled brat doesn't like it much. He actually isn't a picky eater but he does do a lot of pouting when things don't go his way: typical only child I guess. Maybe when he has his 82nd BD next month he will grow up and stop the whining.

Last night was Collard greens ramen. It's a fusion dish. Pretty darn tasty, a definite make again. From this month's Food and Wine mag.

I'm for ANYTHING with sauerkraut!

We ended up having protein pancakes and vegetarian sausage last. I layer my pancakes with no sugar added jam, butter, and sour cream.

Perhaps tonight will be pizza.

Just one. I canít imagine how I would function without one good foot to stand on. I wish they were both done, though. Iím not supposed to put any weight on it until I see the doc in 10 days.

I'm making my Moo Shu meatballs, but with ground turkey... so that ruins my pun and makes them Gobble Gobble meatballs?

I'll serve them as usual on flour tortillas with shredded cabbage and choice of duck sauce, hoisin sauce, and/or hot mustard.

Steamed broccoli.

It's been a while, and I don't care if it's in the 20's and snowing...grilled rib eye steak, baked potato, bbq beans, dinner rolls and sweet tea. Home made carrot cake for dessert.
