We are going to a celebration of the life of one of my bridge friends. We are all bringing food and it starting at 2pm, so we will not be eating dinner here tonight but will have plenty of food at the celebration as well as plenty of wine. At least we are not driving. Of course spoiled brat is gripping because we will have to miss one of the football games. Poor baby!!!!!

25° here this morning. Looks like the sun is trying to break through the fog and clouds.

Teriyaki Chicken, Egg Foo Yung, and steamed rice tonight.

Sunday will be using leftover rice for Shrimp Fried Rice, leftover Egg Foo Yung, S&S Pork, Pork and seeds, and experimenting with Fried Shrimp like you get in Chinese restaurants. *fingers crossed* I love that Shrimp with Chinese Hot Mustard and ketchup!

My husband put a ham on the smoker this morning. I will make potato salad and roast some asparagus. I need to do laundry in the worst way but I am feeling much to lazy to actually get up and do it - I sorted it, stared at it, and got back in bed.

snow has just started to run through tomorrow late afternoon. Forecasters are all over the place on how many inches we'll get. I guess we'll find out once we shovel.

tonight will be pork chops and yu choi with oyster sauce, fruit for dessert.

Today is my husband's birthday. To celebrate we went out for an early dinner at the restaurant of his choice. Quinns Irish Pub Worcester Ma We started with loaded potato skins. They were really great but the portion was huge. If we get hungry later tonight we can finish them!

My little hooligans grabbed the soft pretzels with cheese dipping sauce before I could take a photo!

The husband had steak tips with truffle fries with a gorgonzola sauce.

I had fried while belly clams.

The twelve year old had a cheeseburger and the seven year old had hamburger sliders. I thought that was an excellent idea for a kid's menu.
We sang happy birthday over a Klondike bar when we got home!

I have a savory, decadent, noodle, mushroom, onion, cream cheese, cottage cheese and baby spinach casserole baking in the oven. To make up for this cholesterol fest, roasted beets and carrots, and a cucumber and red onion salad with a sweet and sour vinegar based dressing.

I love Quinns! I would have chosen the fried white belly clams.

Had a great brunch there. Worcester has to be the Foodie Capitol of New England. Or the world.
